Prom was spectacular!

People keep sending me messages about my after thing. But it's kind of scary because I don't remember seeing some people at all the entire night. And...they were in my house? ... okay.

The drunk man and his lover were quite interesting. I think I was scared for like 4 seconds. After that, I was just trying to suppress my laughter.

And boy do I love Mr. Feldman.

I also love putting ice cream away...

and teenagers in pretty dresses and tuxes!

I fell asleep in humanities again today. For a good half hour, too. I'd feel bad, but there was a sub, and I think I actually absorbed a lot of information about Henry 8 in my sleep. Just ask me about his brother Arthur or his first wife Catherine....i've got it down. yeahhhh.

Anyway, now I'm sick.

Two things I realized this weekend:
1. Believe it or not, I care a lot about the people I know.
2. I could die tomorrow and know that my life had a purpose. Good.

Anyway---
Church was lovely tonight. Danielle and I were in charge of finding people to bring up the gifts during mass. I pursuaded two of my freshmen kids to do it. When they walked down the middle of the church I almost got teary eyed with pride. They caught my eye and gave me big goofy smiles and I felt like a happy parent. My group of freshmen is awesome. We are going to have a fun year.

They behave for the most part, too. Tonight, though, I told one to stop throwing pens across the table or else I would have his head on a silver platter like John the Baptist. hahaha. gotta love Bible allusions

Wow. Only in humanities can I write a research paper comparing Jesus, Kurt Cobain, and Michael Jackson, in an effort to discuss Greek philosophy, and get away with it. I'm so excited. That class is amazing!

It's great how her assignments are open-ended enough that we can do pretty much anything. There's nothing worse than typing out 5 pages about a topic that couldn't interest you less!
